Star Swim Schools
Swimming can be both lifesaving and physically active, providing children with an avenue to stay fit throughout their lives. Learning this essential life-skill early will set them on a path toward future success and set them up for lifelong fitness and success.
Studies have demonstrated how children’s negative prior aquatic experiences (NPAEs) hinder their learn-to-swim progress. Utilizing enrollment data from swim schools, free text thematic analysis was utilized to explore the impact of NPAEs on learn-to-swim progress.
Heated Indoor Pools
Star Swim Schools believes water skills and safety should be taught early on to children. Their instructors deliver high quality training sessions with tangible results in an enjoyable, developmentally appropriate learn-to-swim environment.
Heated indoor pools offer children an ideal setting to develop their swim skills without risking cold weather conditions that could cause sickness or diminish the quality of their session. Furthermore, children will feel more at ease while learning faster with improved results.
Swimming Coaches & Teachers Australia provides best practice guidelines, aquatic qualifications and growth opportunities to its member coaches. In addition, all their instructors are members of Merri-bek which allows them to access Brunswick Baths & Coburg Leisure Centre all year long – including summer outdoor pools! This allows them to provide weekly swimming lessons all winter long while guaranteeing continuity for your child and his or her progression.
Baby Swimming Programs
As children and babies transition into toddlerhood, developing an intimate connection to water is critical. Swimming lessons offer children a means of doing just this while teaching water safety lessons and helping prevent drowning incidents. Baby swimming lessons also allow parents to bond with their babies through shared swimming experience.
Baby swimming classes clyde are held all year long, and classes are kept small so each child receives individual attention. Tadpole, our entry-level class, introduces students to basic water breathing and flotation skills before progressing onto Swimboree level – this one-on-one lesson offers instructors working directly with each child and builds upon those learned at Tadpole level, preparing children to enroll in Seahorse program with parents sitting by side of pool actively participating in their lessons.
School Holiday Programs
Star Swim Schools centres offer fun activities during school holidays to keep children active and on schedule, providing an ideal way for children to progress quickly in their skillsets. Lessons take place over five consecutive days, providing repetition similar to that found in regular weekly lessons; this ensures children make rapid gains quickly while simultaneously retaining them, enabling them to move up levels more quickly than otherwise possible. However, these sessions should not replace weekly classes.
Learning best occurs through repeated practice over a short amount of time.
Swimming lessons clyde that excel provide children of all ages a safe, welcoming atmosphere where they can learn how to swim. Their pools feature relaxing environments designed to foster optimal learning environments while encouraging developmentally appropriate practices that help kids focus on lessons while building an appreciation for water sports. Moreover, these institutions employ highly-trained professional staff.
Infants and toddlers gain comfort with water with parental assistance, developing their swim readiness skills such as blowing bubbles, body positions, basic aquatics lessons, drowning prevention measures, and how best to supervise their child in the water. Parents also learn about drowning prevention.
